Hoteles Convento. Lujo y Tiempos perdidos donde perderse. CASA SANTO DOMINGO

El Aeropuerto de Atlanta. Hartsfield Jackson Airport.
Cuando uno viaja solo, a veces las cosas desconocidas asustan. El aeropuerto de Atlanta es uno de los de mayor transito en Estados Unidos, practicamente todo el territorio que lo rodea está sembrado de Hoteles, disponibles para pasar las noches de conexión que requieren la mayoria de los vuelos de la compañia Delta. El primer dia, el tamaño de las colas, la altura de los policias de aduanas y sus pasillos, te desorienta, te hacen sentir pequeño y perdido. Pero como todo, después de recorrerlo en varias ocasiones, le acabas encontrando el truco,se convierte en un espacio fácil, y con un mapa, te puedes incluso permitir el lujo de escaparte con el tren MARTA a la ciudad y visitar algun museo.

Evento 30 de julio en barcelona- OPEN SPACE -Event July 30 in barcelona
Querer saber está bien, pero también hay que dejarse sorprender. En suma 9 intentamos hacer las cosas bajo nuestro punto de vista y eso ya nos diferencia, aunque ese camino sea el menos concurrido. Pero para los que preguntáis por la razón de las cosas y concretamente él porque de nuestra Presentación el 30 de julio a las 19,00, tenemos que decir que en el fondo no hay mucho secreto. Pensamos que una manera de vivir, y entender un espacio era compartiéndolo. Despertar la curiosidad del mayor número de personas es nuestro objetivo. Y eso sucede siempre que alguien entra en el local 272, no responde a fórmulas, no se equipara a nada de lo que uno ya ha visto y esa es la intención. Suma 9 es un lugar donde puedes ir, mirar o aprender. Y lo haremos de las manos de la exposición fotográfica de la fundación VICENTE FERRER, alguien que fue, miró y aprendió hace ya muchos años en otro lugar del mundo. ¿Puede ser eso rentable para los organizadores? Ese puede ser el Leif motiv” de nuestro encuentro, nosotros solo conocemos una manera de hacer las cosas, con el corazón y eso funciona. ¿Si llegas por Internet hasta este lugar?, imprime la imagen y ven a vernos el 30 de julio a las 19,00, tu eres de los que SUMA.

Novel-Hereu y el parque nuevo de Poble NOU.
5,5 hectáreas de espacio abierto, discutible si se quiere estéticamente, pero en cualquier caso espacio, y lo sorprendente es que un sábado cualquiera, pudimos comprobar que durante más de media hora no hubo ni paso nadie. Mientras Glorias y Diagonal Mar estaban llenos de gente. La temperatura era buena, corría el aire del litoral, no sabemos si era porque Jean Nouvel lo tubo en cuenta, o simplemente porque el horizonte despejado de edificios y volúmenes dejaba lugar a otros elementos. Los árboles todavía nuevos se mecían y regalaban un singular sonido difícil de oír en las ciudades, en total 1.000 árboles, más de 5.000 arbustos, casi 11.000 trepadoras, 35 palmeras y unos 5.000 cactus. La principal especie plantada es el sauce llorón, “un tipo de árbol cuyas raíces buscan el agua freática, que aquí se encuentra a cuatro metros de profundidad”. Siempre podemos ver el lado negativo de las cosas, pero SUMA 9 creo que el lado positivo es mucho mas enriquecedor.
